Description
This image was captured on the old city island of Gallipoli in December 2017. Boats like these have been used for hundreds of years to reach the favorite spots of generations of local fisherman. Note the offset oar locks - many fisherman stand facing forward and the positioning allow crossing the long oars on the push stroke.
