Description
This image was captured in Canada's only desert area...called a pocket desert, in and around Osoyoos, British Columbia in May of 2014. The photograph shows a vineyard under the mid-day sun in the warm hills above Osoyoos. The area produces a great deal of fruit including apples, pears, peaches, plums, and cherries. Some of the fruit bearing land has given way to the numerous vineyards and wineries that now proliferate in the area.
