This image was captured in Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan in late September 2017. Cloud cover rolling across the sky creates many patterns of contrasting light and shadow. It's all about the sky....and the land.

About Allan Van Gasbeck
I was born and raised in New England and met my Canadian wife of nearly 50 years now while traveling in Europe in '73. I have mostly lived in Canada since. A fine image, Allan. Upon seeing Canada's glorious Rocky Mountains for the first time, a prairie farmer was asked what he thought of the beauty of the peaks, which are world renowned. He replied, "They are nice...but they sure do block the view." :)
Allan Van Gasbeck replied:
Ha, heard that one before but definitely nice to hear again. Cheers.
