Description
This black and white image was captured on Schooner Cove near the Long Beach section of Pacific Rim National Park in April 2018. The relatively flat beach and huge runoff accentuates the trails left by the retreating tide. This beautiful park is located on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The beach and trails extend for miles. The cove can only be visited at low tide and hikers must be wary of the incoming tide blocking their retreat. It is quiet and secluded generally speaking, but well worth the hike.
