Description
This image was captured on the Chelan Butte Wildlife Area in May of 2015 on a simply lovely day. The area sits very high above Lake Chelan and the Columbia River. A long steep and narrow drive up to great heights affords a fantastic nearly 360 degree view of the cascades to the northwest and south, and the Columbia River to the southeast. This view of some wildflowers offers a unique perspective up a nearly vertical hill to a lone evergreen.
