Description
This image was captured in November 2018 in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada showing the sunlight filtering through autumn leaves. The location is the Gellatly Nut Farm, a 4 hectare working nut farm with over 800 trees of many varieties including walnut, chestnut, hazelnut and many others. Autumn color was accentuated here using filters to brighten the foliage while low autumn sun back lights the nearly translucent leaves. The long and encroaching shadows add drama to the image.
