This image was captured in February 2018 after a rainstorm while sprinkles of rain persisted. The cobblestone street is typical of the old city area of Gallipoli where a modern vehicle can barely navigate through town on these hundreds of years old alleys. This particular alley would be off limits to all but the numerous scooters.

I was born and raised in New England and met my Canadian wife of nearly 50 years now while traveling in Europe in '73. I have mostly lived in Canada since. I have been interested in photography since 1970 and had taken multitudes of pictures in the "film" age. After a time away from photography, I jumped in again in the early years of the "digital" age. I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography in 2007. Since, I spent a couple of years as a part time professional photographer, though I am moving away from working to return to my roots in outdoor photography as a life interest. I enjoy taking landscape, moving water, and nature images - and any other passing fancy moment that deserves to last. I love quiet wild spaces...
