Description

This image was captured at Rhododendron Flats along the Hope Princeton Highway in E.C. Manning Provincial Park. This rhododendron grove comes alive in late May to mid June with these beautiful blossoms on the many plants scattered throughout the area. In this image a young sapling from the maple family grows in the shadow of numerous pine and spruce trees and the rhododendrons lit by the mid day sun. A ten minute walk takes one around the loop conveniently located alongside the highway three, well worth the stop.
