This abstract image show a pair of towering date palms that have nearly seen their day. Perched on the edge of a cliff above Marina San Francesco in Sorrento battling winds off the Bay of Naples one wonders how they have lived long enough to reach nearly 50 meters tall. The image was captured in January of 2016.
