Description
This southward view shows a winding Chelan County backroad making its way down from Chelan Butte in the vast difficult landscape in the foothills of the cascades. This image was captured on a stellar day in the Chelan Butte Wildlife area high above Lake Chelan and the Columbia River. A long steep and narrow drive up to great heights affords a fantastic nearly 360 degree view of the cascades to the northwest and south, and the Columbia River to the southeast.
