Winding a way home through the alleyways of Venice, around canals, over bridges, down alleyways, and even through buildings. What a cool way to get lost, or found. This image of a typical neighborhood in Venice was captured in January 2016. Note the stairs are not exactly level, then note the alterations to the door to make things fit.

Breathtaking image! The natural colors, texture and detail are so inviting. While the mind knows that the architecture is made of "cold" stone the heart is warmed. A fine artistic representation of what Italy is famous for!
